50 Cent plans to follow in Eminem and Dr Dre's footsteps by stepping away from music after his next album "Before I Self Destruct."

50 recently said on his website "The luxury that Eminem and Dr. Dre have now, I'll soon have." 50 continued saying "I'll only be putting out music when I have a masterpiece ready… those guys are ready to put out their masterpieces very soon. Eminem's album is going to blow people away... Like him, I'll only be coming back when people miss me."

So let me get this straight, the ultimate career plan for rappers is to become a huge success then step away and only do music when they feel like it? Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.
